What's New to iCan on Demand?

Poll Everywhere is an easy to use tool that allows teachers to formatively assess their students' progress constantly. Questions can be multiple choice or short answer and students can answer using their cell phones or a device with wireless internet access. When students answer the question, their responses show up on the teacher's computer and can be projected for the entire class to see. This is a great way for all students to get involved! Pearltrees (http://www.pearltrees.com) is a social library that lets you cultivate your interests. Pearltrees’ unique visual interface lets you keep everything you like at hand so you can organize it your way. Collect web pages and turn them into pearls. Organize your pearls into pearltrees based on your interests. Enrich your collections with pearltrees from other community members. Share all of this and start to cultivate your interests with Pearltrees. (http://blog.pearltrees.com/?page_id=13164)

Tech Tools Unlimited is a page that lists 50+ web-based technologies and includes a short description, as well as link to the site. It was created in May of 2012 for a session at the iCan Conference.
