VoiceThread
VoiceThread (http://voicethread.com/) provides a simple way to create digital stories and collaborative presentations. A VoiceThread is a collaborative multimedia slide show that can hold images, documents and videos while allowing people the ability to navigate through slides and leave comments in five different ways. People can comment using voice with a microphone or telephone, text, audio file, or video using a webcam. VoiceThread projects can also be shared with students and teachers who can, in turn, record comments. Users can also use the doodle tool while commenting, which can be played back during the presentation. Finally, VoiceThreads can be embedded into other media or exported as an MP3 file for use in other capacities. Teachers can upgrade to an educator account with additional services including being able to store more than five VoiceThreads at a time. The product is free to use and there is no program to download. (http://voicethread.com/)
