Web Pages Using First Class

Teachers can use the district's First Class software to create and maintain simple web pages for their classes. First Class requires no special knowledge of HTML or coding. In fact, the software works very much like Microsoft Office. Just log in, create, edit, and save. Because of limited space, this is not the program to use if you want to incorporate several documents and images into your web page. See iCan on Demand's Google Sites page under the Collaboration menu for instructions on how to use that content management system; it have fewer space restrictions.

First Class in Education
- Create a class web page, where students and parents can access your teaching schedule and contact information, download class assignments, and more.
- Include hyperlinks to educational web sites related to your content area.
- Add a calendar of your day-to-day lesson plans. Consider embedding a Google Calendar into your web page, for example.
